Mum was one of the first women members of Henley Lions and spent many years fundraising and supporting charities through Lions. One of the highlights of the year for Ruby and Jessie-Ray was helping Father Christmas as elves with mum dressed as Mrs Claus and packing the Christmas hampers to deliver locally to those in need. Henley Lions serve the community by arranging events that provide funds or resources for good causes or individuals. Members also give their time helping others while enjoying good fellowship.
